Compassion Practices (based on the teachings of Pema Chodron)

Learn how to work with unwanted emotions. Discover what causes you to harden your heart and how to open it again.

Friday October 25, 2007 --

The Institute is offering a series of retreats based on the teachings of Pema Chodron (one of the foremost teachers in compassion practices today). These retreats introduce the contemplative practice of Tonglin, a practice that supports the development of compassion.

Winnipeg: at St. Benedicts Retreat Centre, Sunday evenings November 25, January 20, March 16, April 6

Peterborough: at Mount St. Joseph, Monday Evenings November 12, January 14, March 10, April 28

Ottawa: location tba, Tuesday Evenings January 8, March 4, April 22, May 27

all retreats 7:00-9:30 p.m.
