Spirituality and Global Awareness: India These courses take place in both Canada and India. The overarching goal is to deepen student's knowledge of themselves and their place in the contemporary world through interaction with our partners in India and through critical reflection upon theological, historical, cultural, and psychological factors which have shaped self, religious beliefs and practices, and our world. During the fall and winter of 2008-2009, we will be offering this course out of Winnipeg Manitoba, Peterborough Ontario and Ottawa Ontario.

Our India partners are all deeply committed to supporting lives of faith. They are involved in activities of social justice, exploring inculturation, developing indigenous theology, practicing spirituality.
Each class has the opportunity to visit and explore several places of interest. Each course, however, follows a different route and is exposed to different locations. Some of the places we visit include: the Dubare elephant Camp, the Ellora and Ajanta Caves, the Gandhi Ashram, the Debagh Beach Resort, the Krishna Temple, Chamundi Hill.
